NAACP Youth Council September 2026 General Body Meeting

On Sunday, September 20, 2026, the Cleveland NAACP Youth Council, at their General Body Meeting, welcomed Black Votes Matters' Brittany Smalls and NAACP Cleveland Political Action Committee Vice Chair Michelle Wilcox for "Empowering conversation defining, exploring, and refining your WHY to activism."

This month YC focused on, "WHY? Why do you advocate?"

"Let’s refine, enlighten one another, and build as we lead into election season."

With more than 15 in attendance, the guests said, "Grateful for the opportunity to serve and support our young leaders," and "My little cousin would like to sign up for the youth council."

"It doesn’t matter if you can touch the ballot or not - we ALL have A skill. How can YOU best use what you are best at!"
