Purpose of Prison Branch Committee
The Prison Branch Committee is dedicated to advocating for the rights, dignity, and fair treatment of incarcerated individuals. This committee works to address issues within the criminal justice system, support those who are currently incarcerated, and promote equitable conditions within correctional facilities.
Through education, advocacy, and reentry support, the committee helps individuals successfully transition back into society while raising awareness around systemic inequities. By connecting resources, amplifying voices, and promoting justice, the Prison Branch Committee plays a vital role in advancing civil rights both inside and outside of correctional institutions.
